The tasting menu was a great experience but be warned, some of the dishes are not small! All served by polite professional staff in a lovely atmosphere. Book an early slot if you can, we booked for 8pm and left at 10:40!

Basso Social in Bergen is a culinary standout! We had the 10-course meal and each dish was a masterpiece. Add to that the impeccable service and the inviting atmosphere, this place is a treasure. A must-visit for anyone in Bergen looking for an exceptional dining experience.

We dined at Basso for New Year’s Eve eating their 16 course deal with one of us taking the 4 glas wine menu and the other taking the 4 glass cocktail menu. The food was so great. One of the best experiences I’ve had with such a large meal with so many different courses. The wine menu was perfect and fitted the food perfectly. The cocktail menu was nice but not the best fit for some of the courses. The staff were nice and welcoming, and so would recommend everyone coming to bergen, to visit this nice place.

We had a wonderful experience dining here. We tried the Sunday tasting menu: creative dishes, lots of courses and great value for the price. The restaurant has a really cozy and polished atmosphere. Our waitress was super friendly and did a great job explaining the concept and the dishes. We were surprised by the number of dishes and the generous portions. For that price, it seemed too good to be true but they truly exceeded our expectations! We loved the mushroom ravioli with truffle foam and the tuna tartare with fried pasta acting as crostini, genius. Each dish had a lovely freshness to it and every course was simply delicious. We will definitely be back!

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful date here at Basso. The service was as good as it can get with smiling and helpful workers and the food was delicious. I've given 4 stars mostly because I believe no food can be perfect but there were also dishes that did not fall into good taste with me and my girlfiend. Obviously that's more of a personal thing though. Highly highly recommend giving Basso Social a shot if you're looking for a good spot to go on a fancy date or having a larger dinner.

Amazing evening! Food was perfectly balanced, with good wine pairing. Ira was an amazing waitress 🙌 Good knowledge in wines and spotless serving. Highly recommend for both a business dinner or a more private date. Enjoy!

Did the 13 course meal over the weekend. Great ambiance and service. The food was delicious and insanely reasonably priced for that big of a multi course meal. Would absolutely do it time and again.
